Sale and Lease Horses
In Barn Lease Only: Stand By You aka Bayou
Bayou is available 2/1/2020 for IN BARN LEASE! He is a talented 15.1 hand, 7 yr old kill pen rescue Arab/Quarter Horse cross, who has been in extensive rehabilitation training with us for almost one (1) year now. He has amazing talent as both a dressage and hunter prospect, and we predict he has a bright future as a successful schooling show mount in both disciplines! He's suited for an intermediate to advanced teen or small adult, wanting a project with loads of potential. He will excel with additional riding, miles, and show experience.
Top hunter hacker. Excellent manners on the ground, under saddle, and for vet and farrier. Super easy keeper and has done well for us barefoot! He gets along great with other horses- mares and geldings and is a submissive herd member and friendly to other horses, animals, and people. He is a sensitive gelding when it comes to riding, and he has become more confident of the world while with us and has learned to trust. We've taken his retraining especially slow to rebuild his trust and confidence in people and it's paid off!
He's ready to start being pushed, and embark on new experiences with a rider who will bond with him and excel as he does! He has an adorable jump, but LOVES it so much he does have a tendency to rush fences. For this reason we've done extensive work with him over poles and small jumps which he is excelling at quick! He's starting small courses and will be venturing off property in the next few weeks to experience field rides, hunter schooling shows, and potential low level dressage shows too. The right lessor for Bayou must be enrolled in regular lessons at our farm with our instructors to continue his progress under our supervision. In Farm 1/2 Lease available. Must be willing to share with current Owner as he is used as an Equestrian Team/ Lesson mount.

We will have a fantastic hunter prospect horse available eta January 1st. 7 year old OTTB 16.2 hh Gelding (Green Hunter Jumper/Event Prospect)
DC raced up until 2 years ago. Owner's stopped due to a bow, which has healed. He's had one (1) year off track learning how to be a horse again. He has been lightly worked. Trailered and hacked out in our ring both alone and with other horses working. He has trotted poles, and jumped small jumps willingly (third ride!) demonstrating fabulous potential as a hunter jumper. He has a superb brain and fantastic free flowing movement from his shoulder and strong impulsion off his hind-end. He is naturally well-balanced and frames up with ease having 3 lovely, athletic gaits. This one is going to be special, but needs an advanced rider, willing to go slow and patient to put the conditioning and work into this fella that he'll need to excel in the hunter ring. We think he's training will go very quickly due to his superb brain, outstanding attitude, and talent. This one will be a top quality hunter in both the schooling and A show circuit with one year- maybe less- of steady, consistent, cross-training style schooling with the right rider! He must remain in our barn under our supervision currently, so he is available to the right rider as an In Barn Lease with someone enrolled in our program with our Coaches. He is; however, a potential Sale Horse down the line to the right fit and Outstanding forever home! We will start his training and conditioning Mid- November, 2019 and expect to begin campaigning him as a sale horse by the first of the year. Contact Ashlee for more details and price.
